How Maui Slowed the Sun

 On Wednesday the 14th of April we went to Ki O Rahi tournament but unfortunately it rained. So we all jumped back on the bus soaking wet and went back to school. We ate our lunch in the bus and everyone pack up and jumped on their bus. All the people went  back to school because it was raining so hard outside and we were so tired of the rain. After when the bus dropped us of to school we went upstairs to our class and we were making viewing mat and we did it with room 8 and my class and we so excited to do it. After when we do the mat we went on our netbooks and we were watching the Maui video on you tube and we were drawing the Maui pictures and we had to draw on our mat and we were drawing anything that is on the netbooks and we were so excited. We weren't so happy because it was raining and my whole class did the same thing as me and we were so good and quiet and we had a pencil to draw and we had everyone to draw and we had a netbook to copy the pictures and we were so excited and we were cold because it was the rain. We were so hot and we wore  running shorts and running shirts and we were getting into the bus and we were sitting in sits and we were talking in the bus and we were putting our bags next to us and we got some bottle and some food to eat for the game and we went into the bus and we were so excited and we put the mat on the grass and all the school was eating their food and we were quiet and we were so excited. My class and i went back to school and we were so excited and we were so good and we were so cool and we were so good and we had a happy time at school and we were so excited and we were so good at school and we were so confident and we had lots of time doing our mat.

Alekisio Term 1 Student Reflection

Alekisio Easter Sunday April 4th 2021

 During my Easter day on Sunday me and my family were cooking so pig and so food to eat and all of our family came to our house to eat and my cousins came over to play with us and we were so excited to play with them and we were playing   games on our netbooks and my cousins went on their mums and dads phone to play with us and we were so excited to play. After our games we went outside and eat their and we drank some drinks outside and we enjoyed the day and we were playing at Glen Ines school and we were playing some touch and soccer their and we went back home and we were having so much fun and we went home and played on our netbooks and we took turns sharing with our other cousins. And we were eating some nibbles and we were so excited to eat and play and we went to the school and we were having so much fun and we were so good and we were having a good time playing with my cousins and we were playing touch at our house and we were so excited and we were having a good time and my cousin left because they went back home and we ate our Easter eggs and when we ate our Easter eggs we went on our netbook to play games. And we were excited and we were so good at it and we were so good and we were eating it and we were so playing on a keyboard and a mouse and we were so excited and we were so gently and we were so good sitting down and we were so good and we were looking after our baby brother and we were playing games in the garage.

i like my Statics because  i found it so hard and easy and i was so happy to do it and we went on our netbooks to do it and we had to do the same thing about the video said and my class did it to and we had so much fun to do it all.

After the people who have done it we had to do all of it and we had to blog it and put it into our Twp 4 blog log and we had so much fun to do it and we were so happy that we had finished it and we were so good at it. And we had to finish it and we had to do any work what we have to do.

Alekisio holy week journey

 Holy week starts on Palm Sunday, it is a very special week for us here at St Pius X Catholic School. This Holy week is not intended to simply be a walk down memory lane with our heads. Rather it is an invitation to become engaged in Jesus' journey and to make connections with our own journey in our hearts, minds and soul. How are we to live and to face our challenges as Jesus faced his?

Let us walk through his journey, and ask him to help us with our journey in life.

There are eight events that we recognise and we call them Station of the cross. Station 1 Palm Sunday and it's symbols are leaves and candles that we put onto the cross. -

Station 1 :  Palm sunday- 

Station 1 :  Palms was what people greeted Jesus with when he went to Jerusalem on a donkey, they said “Hosanna Hosanna.

   

 

Station 2 : Washing of the feet 

Station 2 :  Bowl of water and a towel at this station - candle. The symbol was when Jesus washed his disciples feet, and when Judasys was about to kiss him (I'm not going to spoil it).

Station 3 : Last supper - The EUCHARIST

Station 3 is one of the most important journeys of Jesus’s, the last day on earth. This station is about when Jesus has his last supper with his friends. Jesus took a loaf of bread, broke it and said’’ Here is my body Take it and eat it’’  He took wine and said ‘’Take this and drink it, it is my blood which will be shared out for you’’.

Station 4 : Garden of Gethsemane 

.After Jesus ate his last supperJesus took his disciples to the garden of Gethsemane and prayed to God. He told Peter, James and John  to keep watch. We remember Holy week because it is Jesus’s last week of being a human and on earth.

Station 5:  The Journey to Calvary

Symbol - Crucifix, candle , Crown of thorn You need to explain why we use these symbols. Jesus carried the cross and he falled on the ground and the people from Jerusalem was smacking jesus on the back and they had a wip to smack jesus and jesus´s other mary was crying because jesus is  getting crucified and jesus got on the cross and his arm was bleeding.

 

Station 6:  The Journey to Calvary - Simon helped Jesus

Symbol - Crucifix, candle You need to explain why we use these symbols. Simmon helped Jesus carry the cross to the place where Jesus is gonna get crucified on the cross and the people from julusim nailed Jesus and those two guys and those guys were saying the prayer and the people from julisim broke those two guyś legs that is on the cross and the bad guys stab jesus body.

Station 7:  The Journey to Calvary - Veronica wiped the face of Jesus. Symbol - cloth, candle You need to explain why we use these symbols

The Cloth symbol : It is the cloth that Veronica wiped the face of Jesus during his journey to Calvary. 

Station 8 : GOOD FRIDAY - Jesus Died on the Crocss sign Symbol:  Crucifix  You need to explain why we use these symbolsThe cross symbols : represents Jesus’s crucifixion & when Jesus was crucified on the cross.
